Postcards from China

Postcards from China is a factual show for CCTV (China Central TV station) hosted by Canadian, Kimberley Buchanan. It takes us on the intimate journey into Modern China – where old meets new, and where historic monuments, modern architecture, big business and glamorous fashion are all part of this fairytale of change.

In this show, Kimberley meets Jenny a young urban woman who migrated from her village in the Shangdong Province to seek a better life in Beijing City. Kimberley and Jenny get around Beijing enjoying the food, dance, professional life and together return to the village to reunite with Jenny’s family and see the contrasts of rural China.
