FoundationThe BORDERLESS Foundation believes in a world where we are all inter-connected, and thus support each other in moving towards a happier, more equitable world. The purpose of the BORDERLESS Foundation is to ensure and promote an ongoing legacy for all Borderless film and campaign projects. It recognises that many of the stories and issues profiled in its films and campaigns require continuity beyond the life of the project itself. In these cases, it is the work of the Trust to manage an ongoing commitment to positive change. |
MissionThe MISSION of the Foundation is to leverage all BORDERLESS projects and to create awareness and motivate a “take action” response for creating positive change in the world through the support of grassroots initiatives to individuals via fellowship programs, organisations and projects. Fundraising1. A percentage of BORDERLESS Productions Limited annual profits are designated to the fulfillment of the Foundation’s mission. 2. The Foundation also receives cash and in-kind sponsorship on a project-by-project basis. 3. The Foundation occasionally fundraises for specific projects through self-generated activity. 4. The Foundation also connects with like-minded groups to share stories, experiences and resources with a combined vision to create better communities for us all. Operational StrategyThe Foundation operates as a Not-For-Profit Charitable trust under the Charities Act 2005 (New Zealand). BORDERLESS Productions Limited covers all operational overheads for the foundation. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees and senior management contribute their time and expertise on a 100% voluntary basis. |
