‘GOING HOME’ – what happened when A Grandmother’s Tribe returned to KenyaWORLD AIDS DAY (1 December 2010) Exactly two years ago, the team of Filmmakers and Producers from A Grandmother’s Tribe made the exciting journey back to Kenya to keep a promise made to the Grandmothers that we would return to Premiere the film in their home country. This journey was documented and thanks to Eileen Gallagher at Borderless Productions, we now have a beautiful 18-minute video on YOUTUBE to share with you. Eileen has Directed and Edited this story to give you an insight into what happened when the Grandmothers saw the film for the first time as well as some of the amazing initiatives that sparked from YOUR support through the CAMPAIGN! Thanks once again for keeping this dream alive – one day we all hope that the Grandmothers will be able to enjoy their aging years through the safe protection of their own adult children from HIV/AIDS. In the meantime, we continue to celebrate their heroic support of their grandchildren left behind. Best wishes to you all – wherever you are in the world. |
