Borderless Productions - Production Services

Production Services

Film and campaign development and production services are at the heart of what we do at Borderless. Our ethos of producing "films that create change" means that we have a unique approach to our filmmaking and story telling. Regardless of the type of production - documentary, commercial or short film, we ask our clients,
"what positive social and environmental change do we wish to effect here?" Our work is then directed to serve this outcome in the most holistic manner possible.

Our production teams include researchers, writers, story-board artists, creative directors, directors, production managers, editors and producers. We also work with a number of designers and creative teams to deliver campaigns with a multi-platform strategy.

AMP Financial Services

"Since winning an AMP Scholarship in 2006, Q has become a valued part of the AMP family. Borderless Productions, now an AMP supplier, has revolutionised the way we tell our Scholarship Winner's and other stories and brought to life the dreams of seemingly ordinary kiwis, who like Q, are indeed extraordinary!"
Kim McWilliams, Sponsorship Manager, AMP Financial Services

AIG LIFE

Borderless is delighted to work with AIG Life, as a supplier of communication services. 'The meaning of life' was a short film that profiled the new AIG Life brand by bringing to life the new brand values for the organisations. It was an opportunity to revisit what really is important in life.

FIRST FOUNDATION

"Borderless Production has beautifully portrayed our young students and their stories with such depth of emotion and sensitivity. In just four minutes they have captured the true essence of what the First Foundation is all about that no amount of words could ever achieve. Thank-you for a truly wonderful job."
Nicki McDonald, Executive Director, First Foundation

FULTON HOGAN

"A great team, they managed to not only understand exactly what we wanted but they helped us take it to that next level."
Construction Divisional Manager - Fulton Hogan Ltd

HB MEDIA - IDEALOG magazine

"We had some idea what our Idealog TV series should be like, but Borderless immediately grasped the concept and added their own secret ingredients. They understood the brief, did the hard yards and the creative stuff and delivered something we could be proud of. Thanks Borderless!"
Matt Cooney, Editor, Idealog Magazine

HB MEDIA - GOOD magazine

World Environment Day, June 5th 2008, was a day we all wanted to celebrate. Borderless teamed up with HB Media and UNANZ in New Zealand and worked to produce the official viral video for the UNEP, launching GOOD magazine to the NZ market at the same time.

NZ MENTORING CENTRE

"Borderless were superb to work with from the word go. They made it easy for us to complete, in record time, what seemed to us an impossibly difficult project. - we being specialists in what we do but completely new to the art of film making. They are not only experts in their craft but were also wonderful in driving the project and working collaboratively so that we came out with an incredibly professional product that really did the job we needed it to. This was a significant investment for us in our business and we are really pleased with the result."
Aly McNicoll, Director, NZ Mentoring Centre

ONESOURCE

"We have been delighted with the creativity, professionalism and impact that the team at Borderless consistently deliver to our corporate projects. They are able to take an idea from concept and through their unique vision, leave an effective and lasting impression on our target audience, every time."
Brent Jameson, Marketing Communications Manager, Konica Minolta Business Solutions New Zealand Limited

OXFAM

Borderless is absolutely delighted to be working with Oxfam NZ to produce this year's Unwrapped Campaign TV Commercial and Viral Video. Working with animals and children is a cliche no-no in our industry, but in this case it was one of those projects where it was the making of the production.

PAPER PLUS NZ

Turning 25 is no mean feat, especially if your roots are entirely Kiwi! Borderless helped Paper Plus celebrate this milestone by producing a documentary story that reminisced about the good ol' days and some of the stories that shaped this 200 plus franchise Kiwi success story.

SALVATION ARMY (CANADA)

The work of the Salvation Army in Canada continues to be, put mildly, life-changing. The short film produced by Borderless gave a rare insight into the lives and minds of the clients who literally turn their world around when they come into contact with this organisation.

SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS NETWORK

'Sustainability - the movement of our time' is a two-part short film produced for the SBN to celebrate trailblazers of the sustainability movement. Once seen as greenies and tree-huggers, these companies are now being heralded as heroes in business circles.

WORLD VISION

"Directing a successful TVC for World Vision is about as hard as it gets. Try doing that in rural Zambia with new crew on HD on the back of little sleep... that takes a very special breed of director. Dean Easterbrook took it all in his stride and we all came out smiling - thanks Dean."
Mark Davey, Director, BLACK Agency.

WORLD KINDNESS MOVEMENT

Borderless produced 'A World of Kindness' with Debbie Riopel and Mark Broscheit, Canadian kindness campaigners on the trip of a lifetime to document acts of kindness in 17 countries. Their story continues to inspire kindness projects throughout the world.
